In his portraits, he does not limit himself to mere physiognomic representation, but investigates the inner essence of the subjects. Each brushstroke is an attempt to reveal stories, emotions and the complex humanity that lies behind the gaze.
Through a realistic and detailed painting technique the artist captures the vulnerability and strength of his models, creating works that resonate with deep empathy.
In parallel with his exploration of the human face, Gammone dedicates a significant part of his artistic research to social and environmental themes.
His canvases thus become powerful vehicles of awareness, addressing crucial issues such as the climate change and the fragility of ecosystems, the conflictual relationship between humanity and nature, the profound emotional landscape shaped by our experiences with life’s changes.
With an evocative and symbolic language, his works shake consciences, inviting the viewer to a critical reflection on the world around us and on our role within it.
Gammone’s art is a continuous dialogue between the individual and the collective, between the intrinsic beauty of the human being and the pressing need for a responsible commitment to the planet and society.
